Directions to start

The Boat and Anchor Pub is situated just North of Junction 24 of the M5 and can be accessed from Juction 24 (between N Petherton and Bridgwater) follow brown sign to Canal side parking.

Route

• This stage follows the official trail on the Canal until Fordgate and then turns left on minor roads and footpaths. If you do not turn left you could end up in Taunton !
• At Burrow Bridge (Main Road-Take Care). Turn left over Bridge and at the Pub (King Alfred) turn right to follow the River until you get to the Finish at Oath.
• No climbing of Burrow Mump this year, unless you want to admire the view !

Support and Spectating

Apart from the start and Finish there are limited places to park up,
